    Wilhelminawerf Utrecht

    In a unique location on the Merwedekanaal canal in Utrecht, we realised rental apartments, on-site parking and a commercial space. Wilhelminawerf is located in the Merwede Kanaalzone, an area that in the coming years will be transformed from an industrial area to a lively and sustainable city district, a low-traffic zone with lots of greenery.     For this design the architect looked into the history of Zeist and gave the apartment complex a nineteen-thirties look that reflects the location's past.     The Grandaire project is located at Alexanderplatz, right next to Berlin's busiest indoor shopping centre.
